Summary: Picturesque, beautiful views, amazing outside space with pool and loungers. Watch the sunrise in the morning and view the lights of the mountains at night to the soundtrack of insects. Lovely old house, somewhat rustic, quite dusty. Found en suite to be a little smelly when any toilet is flushed and we had issues with electric cutting out, but host was very helpful and accommodating, the mangoes he grows are absolutely delicious, worth the stay alone!!! Location in the mountains is perfect for relaxing as its an isolated spot. In the mountains so it can get very windy and the road to the property is very narrow but I had an enormous suv not suited, any medium to small size car would have been much better. Family had a great vacation and everyone absolutely loved the pool, even when it rained. Read a review where someone said the village in Competa with the umbrellas is a 7 minute walk, well they must walk at 30 mph! You definitely need a car or some form of transport if you are staying here! Overall its a 7/10 for me but the kids would give it a 10!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time in this house, with a precious view and a pool that cooled us down when the sun was shining a lot. We were enjoying our stay very much and would definitely recommend this beautiful house to anyone who is looking for a spacious accommodation and has a car! Maybe bring some mosquito spray ;)

Summary: A wonderful week. The family loved the pool & the house. Jesus was the perfect host, a couple of questions were answered immediately. His mother even brought us some delicious grapes. Beautiful views from the outside dining table in the evening In our opinion you do need a car especially in August when the temperature was over 40 degrees. Thank goodness for the air conditioning at night. Can thoroughly recommend this villa for an enjoyable holiday

Summary: Wonderful villa with everything you could possibly want. Welcome basket with fruit and wine was an added bonus, thank you very much. The pool was enjoyed by all, a few tiles missing, but no big deal. The owner came over and cleaned the pool and filters. He was very pleasant. You definitely need a CAR here. The hill is a killer for even the fittest. Overall great place, great villa, quiet location. Best for rest and relaxation.

Summary: Further to other good reviews the property was as expected. Very well equipped in a great location. The host was excellent, responsive and extremely helpful, making our stay a 10/10.

Summary: It was the perfect family holiday villa, located inbetween lots of great places to visit for all ages. The kids loved the villa, and the garage space is a great addition for when it was too hot to play outside. Perfect for us adults as well to enjoy a relaxing drink in the evening from the covered seating area, watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Had a lovely time staying at the villa. Reviews have been conflicting in terms of being able to walk into town. We found it perfectly do-able, literally 10 minutes. Granted it was a bit steep but only a short distance. We don't like driving abroad but still managed to get about, taking the bus to Nerja Caves, Frigliana, and to Torrox Costa a couple of times. We found the restaurants in Torrox Pueblo very friendly and good choice, but equally enjoyed using the bbq at the villa in the evenings. The view from the outside dining area is stunning. Having a pool to jump into when it gets a bit hot, day or night, was THE best! And we really appreciated a bag of the most amazing mangoes and grapes I've ever eaten, thanks to Jesus parents! Having a table tennis table in the garage for the more active amongst us was a bonus, personally I preferred to laze around the pool with a cold drink from the outside bar! Overall perfcet holiday if you want to get away from it all, but equally well situated for getting about. Thanks Jesus!

Summary: We stayed here for four glorious weeks in July. Myself, my wife and three children 11, 13 and 15. The Villa is extremely spacious inside and is equiped with everything you could possibly need. The garage is great for keeping the car cool and contains a table tennis table which we got great use out of. The outside pool area is great with outdoor fridge and large shaded seating area. The kids where in the pool until 11 o'clock most nights. The Villa is in a quiet area surrounded by mountains looking down to the sea so is perfect to switch off and relax. However it is still close to the many attractions and towns in the area, such as Nerja which is only a 10 minute drive away. It is a 10 minute walk into the lovely old town of Torrox where you will find small shops and restaurants . The beach is a five minute drive away. Our host Jesus could not have been any more helpful, a true gentleman and the welcome basket and fruit was a lovely touch. We would highly recommend a stay in this wonderful Villa.

Summary: We had a fab time at the villa beautiful views and a comfortable villa . We had to contact Jesus a couple of times and we were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend to have a car as the villa is just a bit far out for walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay just wish we could have had longer there maybe another time. Thank you for the use of your villa we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it for future guests
